Equity benchmarks started off day on a flat note after rally in previous session and ahead of outcome of two-day Federal Reserve policy meeting tonight.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 3.76 points at 29,438.87 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 3.75 points to 9,083.25. About two shares advanced for every share falling on the BSE.

Reliance Industries, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Tata Motors, Wipro, Hindalco and Aurobindo Pharma were early gainers while Bharti Airtel, Larsen & Toubro, TCS, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints, HCL Technologies, Asian Paints and Bosch were early losers.

The Sensex was down 10.95 points at 29037.24 and the Nifty fell 10.40 points to 8953.05.

Benchmark indices erased early gains on selling pressure in Infosys and Tata Motors.

However, the market breadth was positive as about 928 shares advanced against 645 declining shares on the BSE.

NTPC, Reliance Industries, Coal India, Adani Ports, BHEL, Tech Mahindra, Tata Power and Eicher Motors were early gainers while Infosys, Hero Motocorp, Tata Motors, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank, M&M and Idea Cellular were under pressure.

Infosys Results Better than expected, Q3 net Profit of Rs 3708 crore

IT major Infosys sector were better than expected third quarter results. Infosys’ profit after tax rate quarter on quarter 3708 was Rs 3,606 crore, which is the last time. Equity Tips– Net profit was 2.8 per cent growth.

Stock Market has Opened on a Higher Note

Bank of Baroda offers home loan at 8.35 which is lower than SBI

Equity Tips

Bank of Baroda (BoB) in the country will be the cheapest loan. Bank loans have an interest rate of 0.7 percent, down 8.35 percent. The State Bank of India (SBI) is offering home loans at 8.50 percent. Yet it was to give the market the cheapest home loan bank.
