Stock Future Tips | Nifty Future to Open at 8841 | TradeIndia Research

The Indian benchmark index Nifty traded in a narrow range of 48 points yesterday by making a high of 8820 and low 8772. From last seven trading sessions, Nifty remained in a small range of 100 points.

The immediate major support of the index is at 8715 below which the next level would be 8537 and the immediate resistance is 8827. 

Bank Nifty also remained in a range of 156 points yesterday by making a high of 20314 and a low of 20158. The next major support of Bank nifty is at 20000 and resistance is at 20407. Profit booking has been observed in cash stocks as the benchmark index Small cap yesterday closed 30 points down from its previous day closing of 6564. The next major support of Small cap is at 6403. 

Nifty Future is opening at 8841 as per SGX Nifty at 8:30 am IST, 37 points above its previous close of 8804.

Most analysts feel the Budget 2017 is likely to have a pro-poor focus. The market will watch for govt’s FY18 fiscal deficit target, divestment plans, announcement on the taxation front among others. The market expects govt to relax its FY18 fiscal deficit target of 3 percent.

Nifty holds 8400, Sensex opens flat; BHEL, Tata Motors gainers 

The market has opened flat but the Nifty has managed to hold 8400. The Sensex is down 26.43 points or 0.1 percent at 27231.21 and the Nifty is down 7.10 points or  at 8409.90. About 498 shares have advanced, 278 shares declined, and 154 shares are unchanged.

The Indian rupee slipped in the early trade. It has opened lower by 12 paise at 68.20 per dollar versus 68.08 Wednesday.

Sensex Open 105 Point Up

US markets closed higher and Asian markets traded mixed on Thursday was a good start to the domestic market. Share Market Tips– The Sensex opened 105 points higher at 26 738 points and the Nifty opened at 36 points above the 8226 level.

BSE Midcap and Smallcap is seeing strong buying. BSE Midcap remained 0.72 per cent 0.72 per cent, while the Nifty Midcap. BSE Smallcap rose by 0.75 per cent.

Auto index Nifty gained 1 percent. The Bank Nifty index 0.65 per cent, metal index Nifty is up 0.94 percent.

Rupee 15 paise stronger than the fall in the dollar index opened at 67.90.

US markets closed on edge

Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 60 points in Wednesday’s trading to close at 19 942. S & P 500 index rose 13 points to 2271 and Nasdaq ended 5477 with a gain of 48 points.

Indian ADRs ended higher on Wednesday. In the IT space, Infosys rose 2.65 percent at USD 15.13 and Wipro added 2.52 percent at USD 9.77. 

In the banking space, ICICI Bank fell 0.67 percent at USD 7.45 and HDFC Bank was up 0.02 percent at USD 59.19.

In the other sectors, Tata Motors rose 1.21 percent at USD 35.95 and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories gained 1.10 percent at USD 45.94.
